According to IEA statistics, global electric vehicle sales exceeded 20 million units in 2025, with more than 1.8 million new public charging piles added. Driven by global dual carbon goals, integrated solar-storage-charging-vehicle infrastructure — deeply coupling photovoltaic power generation, energy storage, charging and battery swap facilities, and new energy vehicles — has become an important choice for countries' green transformation.
Demand is strong in Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and South America, but policies, standards, grid conditions, and business models vary greatly across countries. Chinese enterprises going global often face practical challenges such as high certification thresholds, difficult local operations, heavy financial pressure, going it alone, and insufficient industrial chain coordination. How to transform mature domestic practices into overseas solutions that are implementable and profitable has become a common proposition for the industry.

Against this backdrop, GREEM and China EV100 have officially launched the "Integrated Solar-Storage-Charging-Vehicle Global Development Project," open for research and solicitation to enterprises across the entire industrial chain, including photovoltaics, energy storage, charging and battery swap equipment, complete vehicles, energy operations, system integration, power engineering, and financial investment. This project maintains a pragmatic orientation: using research to identify real industry demands, using events to connect with overseas owners, using pilots to refine replicable solutions, and gathering industry strength to jointly undertake real overseas projects.
01 Key Markets and Real Scenario Opportunities
Leveraging the global cooperation network already established by GREEM and China EV100, the project prioritizes four major regional markets, each with clear differentiated demand:
Europe (Germany, Spain, Italy) — Grid foundations are well-developed, and green power trading mechanisms are mature. Key opportunities: industrial and commercial parks, commercial parking lots, highway service areas, and urban public fast-charging stations; V2G vehicle-grid interaction, liquid-cooled ultra-fast charging, and virtual power plant aggregation operations have broad market space, with high emphasis on product compliance and grid dispatch adaptation.
Southeast Asia | With Malaysia as the core pivot, radiating across ASEAN — Malaysia's national energy company TNB and highway operator PLUS have released clear construction demand. Demand is strong for highway solar-storage-charging hubs, industrial parks, data centers, and commercial complexes, with policy dividends being released for peer-to-peer electricity sales and green power procurement.
Implementation in Practice: October 26–30, 2026, Shanghai | China-Malaysia Green and Smart Mobility Industry Cooperation Week
A high-level Malaysian government and business delegation will visit China to hold forums, one-on-one matchmaking meetings, and visits to benchmark enterprises, directly connecting with leading Malaysian enterprises to discuss technology cooperation, EPC contracting, and supply chain localization.
Middle East | With the UAE as the core pivot, radiating to Gulf countries — Leveraging the UAE Energy Strategy 2050, the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) are vigorously advancing integrated solar-storage-charging infrastructure. There are abundant investment opportunities in commercial and industrial sites, large-scale microgrids, and fleet-supporting energy replenishment.
Implementation in Practice: November 10–12, 2026, Dubai | China-UAE Green and Smart Mobility Industry Cooperation Week
Held at the "China EV Zone" of EV World Dubai, the event will feature a dedicated session on integrated solar-storage-charging-vehicle solutions, connect with local governments, sovereign wealth funds, and energy groups, and advance negotiations and signings of demonstration projects.
Africa (Morocco, South Africa) — These countries have abundant solar resources but weak grids. Off-grid and weak-grid solar-storage-charging solutions are essential needs. Market potential is enormous in highway freight hubs, mining areas, logistics fleet bases, remote community microgrids, and urban commercial energy replenishment stations, and mature solutions can be rapidly replicated and exported to East and West Africa.
Current Observations: A number of overseas single-point implementation projects already exist in China, but most are delivered as separate equipment subsystems, and complete integrated solar-storage-charging-vehicle collaborative projects remain relatively few. Insufficient understanding of local policies and a lack of industrial chain coordination constrain large-scale replication. There is an urgent need to gather the strength of the entire industrial chain to upgrade single-point practices into systematic going-global solutions.
02 Participating enterprises will receive six core empowerments.
Integrated solar-storage-charging-vehicle overseas projects require cross-industrial chain collaboration, which is the key to success. A single enterprise can hardly complete full-chain delivery. This project is committed to connecting all links — photovoltaics, energy storage, charging and battery swap, complete vehicles, engineering, and finance — to achieve complementary capabilities, shared risks, and joint operational capability for undertaking large overseas projects.
1.Think Tank Research Empowerment
Participants engage in in-depth research and gain priority access to global country-specific reports and the annual comprehensive report, obtaining first-hand intelligence on policies, standards, and competitive landscapes in key markets.
2.Precise Resource Matchmaking Empowerment
Leveraging the local networks of GREEM and China EV100, participants connect with governments, energy groups, industrial parks, and financial institutions across countries, and gain priority matchmaking seats at the two flagship events — the China-Malaysia Cooperation Week in Shanghai and the China-UAE Cooperation Week in Dubai — to jointly undertake overseas projects.
3.High-End Event Participation Empowerment
Priority access to participation, speaking, and business matchmaking opportunities at the GNEV Global Cooperation Forum, the China EV100 Annual Conference International Forum, regional and country-specific seminars, and overseas field visits.
4.Industrial Ecosystem Co-Building Empowerment
Inclusion in the integrated solar-storage-charging-vehicle going-global cooperation network, linking upstream and downstream to fill gaps in products, integration, operations and maintenance, and financing, and exploring diverse going-global models such as equipment supply, EPC, integrated investment-construction-operation, joint ventures, and technology licensing.
5.Policy Advocacy Channel Empowerment
Aggregating common pain points of enterprises going global, forming industrial policy recommendations, and advancing demands such as mutual recognition of standards, green finance, and overseas risk protection.
6.Cross-Industrial Chain Collaboration Empowerment
Breaking the dilemma of enterprises going it alone, promoting pairing among enterprises in different segments, and forming joint delivery capabilities suited to large integrated overseas projects.
03 Project Implementation Pace: Steady Advancement in Three Phases
Phase One (6 months): Complete research on key markets, build an industrial alliance, and lock in the first batch of pilot scenarios in Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Use the October China-Malaysia Cooperation Week in Shanghai and the November China-UAE Cooperation Week in Dubai as the first implementation actions, directly matching enterprise capabilities with real overseas demand.
Phase Two (6-18 months): Implement overseas pilot projects and complete validation of business models and technical solutions.
Phase Three (18-36 months): Achieve large-scale replication across multiple regions, export localized solutions, and build a batch of industry benchmark projects.
Project Team Viewpoint: Integrated solar-storage-charging-vehicle going global differs from traditional vehicle trade. It takes investment-construction-operation and localized implementation as its main forms, carries lower trade friction risk, and is more conducive to deeply taking root in local markets. The mature domestic experience accumulated in parks, factories, public stations, and microgrids, combined with localized adaptation to overseas realities, is the core proposition for the industry's going-global efforts.
