On March 4, Zhang Yongwei, Chairman of China EV100, visited Sany and held in-depth strategic talks with its Chairman Liang Linhe. Focusing on the high-quality development and global layout of the new energy heavy truck industry, the two sides agreed on all-round collaboration. Senior Deputy General Manager and Deputy Director of the Chief Supervisor of Sany Zhang Zhihai, along with Sany’s Operation Management Department Director Sun Guobin, Deputy General Manager Chen Dong and Head of Market Management Department Ning Qiangwei, attended the discussion.

During the discussion, Zhang Yongwei highly commended Sany’s innovative practices in new energy and intelligence. He stated that the company’s technological exploration and industrial layout have further boosted both sides’ confidence in strategic cooperation, laying a solid foundation for advancing industrial technological innovation, standard development and global expansion.

Centering on the 2026 strategic cooperation direction, the two sides held in-depth consultations on eight key projects including international market expansion, industry standard formulation, brand building, cutting-edge research and global resource connection. They also clarified core goals such as brand value enhancement, global ecosystem co-construction and strategic collaboration empowerment.

For international collaboration, the two sides will join hands to optimize overseas market layout, co-build a benchmark promotion system and improve overseas service and supply chain support. They will advance technological globalization, international innovation cooperation and the development of a global energy supplement ecosystem to realize efficient industrial resource linkage. This strategic cooperation will further pool the efforts of both sides, accelerate technological innovation and standard leadership, jointly build an open, collaborative, green and intelligent new ecosystem for the new energy heavy truck industry, and lead the green transformation and high-quality development of the global commercial vehicle industry.
During the visit, Zhang Yongwei and his delegation toured the Sany’s Industrial Park and test-drove the vehicles.
