High-Level Closed-Door Seminar on Landscape and Policies of China’s Automotive Industry Global Expansion to Be Held in Beijing on March 20

The 15th Five-Year Plan proposals note that opening up and win-win cooperation are an inevitable requirement for Chinese modernization. NEVs have become a core representative of China’s high-level industrial opening-up. The global automotive industry faces both opportunities and challenges. It stands to capitalize on sustained global market demand growth, yet also confronts multiple uncertainties such as restructured trade rules, heightened geopolitical competition, higher overseas compliance thresholds and inadequate international logistics support. The challenges in China’s automotive industry global expansion require systemic resolutions.

Against this backdrop, China EV100 will co-host the High-Level Closed-Door Seminar on Landscape and Policies of China’s Automotive Industry Global Expansion & Launching Meeting of the Flagship Research Project on International Development Strategy and Paths with the China Automotive Strategy and Policy Research Center on March 20, 2026. The seminar will invite relevant leaders from national ministries and commissions, industry experts and enterprise representatives. Centering on industrial concerns and based on policies and market practices, the seminar will feature policy interpretation and analysis of the global market landscape, opportunities, challenges and future development trends. Participants will discuss ways to optimize the policy support system, improve international logistics and financial support, and enhance enterprises’ international operation capabilities, and put forward valuable suggestions for follow-up project implementation.
