On May 13, 2026, the Global Future Mobility Conference (GFM2026) held a key supporting event—the Global EV Industry Procurement Demand Release and Sourcing Matchmaking Meeting—at BITEC in Bangkok, Thailand. The event was co-hosted by China EV100, the Global Renewable Energy and Electric Mobility (GREEM), and the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI). Taking the form of "centralized procurement announcements + targeted one-on-one matchmaking," the event efficiently connected leading global OEMs and component manufacturers with high-quality supplier resources, effectively breaking down cross-border cooperation barriers along the industrial chain and establishing a pragmatic and efficient platform for the collaborative development of the Chinese and Thai NEV industries.

The event was hosted by Liu Xiaoshi, President of China EV100. In his opening remarks, he noted that the event focused on facilitating China-Thailand EV supply chain matchmaking, aiming to build a bridge of communication between leading Thai OEMs and high-quality suppliers, break through cross-border sourcing barriers, precisely match supply and demand, facilitate practical cooperation between both sides, and inject new vitality into the development of Thailand's NEV industry.

During the procurement demand announcement session, leading companies including Guangsuo Future (Bulletrux), GAC Aion Thailand, Chery Thailand, Autoliv Asia Pacific, Leiyu Auto, and Xiamen Yaxon Connect Co., Ltd., shared their global procurement needs covering key areas such as vehicle manufacturing, electric drive systems, smart cockpits, core components, and connected vehicle services. These companies clearly communicated their technical standards, production capacity requirements, and localization needs, allowing suppliers to gain a clear understanding of what these OEMs were seeking, and laying strong groundwork for the face-to-face discussions to follow.

In the subsequent one-on-one matchmaking session, nine leading companies—Foton Zonda, Changan Automobile (Thailand), SAIC Zonda, Guangsuo Future (Bulletrux), GAC Aion Thailand, Chery Automobile Thailand, Autoliv, Leiyu Auto, and Xiamen Yaxon Connect Co., Ltd.—engaged in more than 150 efficient face-to-face meetings with over 100 high-quality suppliers from China, Thailand, Malaysia and beyond. Participating enterprises engaged in in-depth discussions on key topics such as technical matching, production capacity, delivery lead times, and localized cooperation. Multiple initial cooperation intentions were reached on the spot, effectively accelerating the localization of high-quality Chinese automotive supply chains in Thailand and assisting leading companies in strengthening their local component ecosystems.

Going forward, China EV100 will continue to leverage its role as an international platform and organize a series of activities in Thailand to enhance connectivity between the Chinese and Thai automotive industrial chains, inject strong momentum into the electrification and intelligent transformation of Thailand's automotive industry, and provide replicable models for the collaborative development of the global NEV industry.
